Yeah So, Facebook.

I’m addicted.? My brother Joel got me hooked and I’m finding people I went to elementary school with, high school and a bazillion hot mommybloggers.? It’s so fun.
I found my sister.? As in my father’s other daughter.? You know what?? She is really cool.? She’s 18, and we’ve been emailing back and forth.? Neat eh?
I found this one guy who was a total nerd in elementary school, although he was always nice to me.? It was cool to see him all grown up, and his wife is like totally hot.? That made me really happy because the guy was really sweet and nice as a kid.? (Of course I hope they are happy too though)
Alternately, there’s one person that was a major hottie in school and now, not so much.? At all.? The two don’t know each other but it’s interesting to see the contrasts.? I’ve never bothered going to reunions.? I wonder what people’s lives are like now, wonder if they are total knobs now, or if they kept their whole hearted goodness they had in school.

I love your blog! When did you turn into such a smart, beautiful, creative, amazing person? Oh yeah, when you were living at our place…with me…not, you know, that I’m saying that had any influence on the way you turned out or anything… :oD
In reference to your last post…hang in there! You’re a great Mom, even when you feel like strangling the kidlets with your bare hands! ‘Course that’s coming from someone wise enough (?!) not to have reproduced so take it as you will! ;o)
When’s a good time to call you, by the way? I wanna call when we can really chat, uninterrupted by boys of any sort…lemme know ’cause I have unlimited long distance and I am ready and willing to use it!

Ahhhhh facebook. The reason why I, and everyone in my generation will fail our degrees. It is really good though, far better than my space. I love that you can put albums up and label people in them.

I registered yesterday (as myrealself) and couldn’t find ANYBODY. How do you find people? I have no idea how to use it.

My daughter is a big facebook user. I go on her account all the time to check up that she’s not doing anything nefarious (she knows, I leave her notes, it’s part of our agreement allowing her to use both facebook and the now totally uninteresting MySpace). I don’t think ANYONE my age is on Facebook. But we’ve found a ton of kids we know from different places!
