Do I Need A Jacket Today?

You know how when you’re all busy and frazzled, you can’t make a decision? It took me two four eight hours of on and off debating to decide to make chicken for dinner last night. When I remembered to obtain said chicken from the freezer, I discovered we didn’t have any. My family nearly starved to death last night. Thankfully, there were sausages (yuck…I had salmon), and I sauteed chopped brussel sprouts, sweet onion and parsnips. We topped that with a bit of Parmesan and it was a party in our mouths. Even the kids liked it.
Score!
So this morning, we need to walk 40 minutes to the store to get milk and wimmens supplies (yuck again. Hi, I’m 3, using the word yuck.) Thank goodness for this site, or I’d never leave the house.
The answer for my area said: “Yes.”
Then, just in case you really are a defiant 3 year old, or the parent of one, it further explains: “Why? Because: rain. light rain, but still rain. it’s not very warm out.” I love the wording.
Anyway, if you’re wondering why I’ve been so busy - you can see some of the jobs I’ve been doing here, and I’ve even thrown in some pre-made blog designs here (the 1st five designs are mine, the other three are Emily’s fantastic work.)
Anyway, loads to do. But at least I know I need a jacket. One decision down, 4583 to go. Sigh.
Oh! Oh! I did make one good decision though! I awarded Petroglyph Paraodx for writing this post. I haven’t been able to get it out of my head. Partly because I do wonder how all of you live and how my neighbours live, and partly because I constantly think about blogging things that are happening (and usually forget, actually)
That post just resonated with me for weeks, like a little ripple in my head. I especially loved the activity that Natalie and her mother did with their laptops - what a great exercise for the brain.? Go read it.

Yesterday I went back and forth about pork chops so I took them out just in case. Yeah we all ordered pizza then this morning I discovered I had left the chops on the counter all night…gross.

Well, my God… I just got back from a trip to the beach and decided to check my blog and **WHOA-NELLY** What in the hell is this? There must be something wrong with this danged stat counter, again… I said to myself.

You know, the real question here is, “Did you do that driving in the car thing and try to figure out who the married couples are and was I right, or what?”

MMM. That meal actually sounds yummy! We love Brussel sprouts here. I’ve never had parsnip before though.
