Perfect Post: Bad Words
July 2, 2007
When I read this post by @Home In The World, I was cheering. You will too. Not enough people saw this post.
Whether you are a Mommyblogger, a Mom Who Blogs, anti-Mommyblogger (against the word) or like me, sick and tired of labels - this might be the right idea in putting the power back into the hands of intelligent women who happen to be mothers who write.
Definitely a Perfect Post!

Totally deserves the award…. I love and hate “mommy blogger”. I think that we are much more than Mommy’s. We are friends, and lovers, and spouses, and siblings, and offspring. We are SO much more than mommy’s.

You were right (like I ever doubted you) that post was AWESOME!

After writing about “throwing out my label maker” as a guest blogger over at PlainJaneMom.com, I was really surprised at the power of responses I received from people that have had it with labels like MommyBlogger, Working Mother, etc. Seriously, enough already.
Your Perfect Post nominee has it spot on– these are bad words. Thanks for sharing it.
