   Dear Vodka….I normally limit myself to excessive amounts of wine and beer, but last night I was at my kid’s swim meet where they frown on the obvious consumption of alcohol and my friend and I went down to the clubhouse on some trumped up mission that was really to get a drink. Any swim parent can tell you that swim meets require alcohol if not heavy tranquilizers. So, in honor of you and how much I LOVE your blog, I had a drink with vodka in it. With orange juice and cranberry…I know, you probably have cool martinis and stuff but I had to be able to take it back to the swim meet in a styrofoam cup and make it look like I was drinking juice. Any particular brand of vodka? I think he made mine with Absolut…which I think is SO 20 years ago because I was serving it when I was a cocktail waitress.

   Most of my vodka drinking friends seem to go for Grey Goose and Ketel One these days.

   All of this is just rambling and trying to impress you because I blog-love you. And now I blog love you even more and want to have a blog threesome with you, me and Bite My Cookie. Thank you for making me laugh my ass off before I finished my first cup of coffee.
