Speak Up Sonny!
October 11, 2007
Watching Canada AM, I just half-listened to a commercial and perked up at the words
“urine test dot c a,”
only to see what the actual url was:
hearing test dot c a.
There’s a haiku here somewhere, but I suck at haikus.? Haikus?? That doesn’t look right.? Can you pluralize haiku?? Is pluralize even a word? I need a teacher.? This one just got fired from iVillage and is on her own now ~ perhaps I can hire her to help me think.
She’ll just have to talk loud.

Pluralize is a word, but you don’t pluralize haiku. The singular and plural forms of the word are the same, like “fish.” Or “beer.”

It doesn’t count because you were only half listening lol. If you were totally paying attention, then maybe you should get a hearing test…
Actually get one anyway, just to be safe!

Let’s see-Haiku is 6 or 7 syllables, then 5, then 6 or 7, right?

Speaking of Canada AM, Seamus had better be back next week. That’s two straight weeks of early mornings without my secret TV newscaster boyfriend to wake me up.
