Oh Looky! Emily fixed my blog! I loves her.
Meanwhile, these are the Things I still have left to do:
- Return leased car to Mother-in-law (this will hurt - I love that car)
- Grocery shop for the last bit of stuff we need
- Shop for 1 more gift for Thomas (books) (Daren’s job)
- Shop for stocking stuffers (Daren’s job)
- Bake Kaluha Cake (recipe here)
- Make green bean casserole to take to dinner (tomorrow)
- Clean the house for in-laws to come over tonight
- Laundry
- Packing to go to Granny’s on Boxing Day
- Try to substitute sitter for dog (or she will have to come with us - anyone in London want a horse for the holiday?)
- Putty and touch up paint Jessica’s room (Sarcastica is coming to live with us - w00T!)

Finish laundry.
Vacuum.
Cut up squares and arrange baked goods for bringing to three places.
Hope to hell two last gifts are in my mailbox…check mailbox.
Make gift tags, finish tagging gifts.
Make sweet potatoes to bring to dinner tomorrow.
Bake lasagna for dinner tonight.
Not too bad!

We are due at my parents’ house for celebrating in 3.5 hours
- Make stuffed mushrooms (with crab and without since two family members have developed shell fish allergies. bastards)
- take a shower
- wrap all of my nieces’ and nephew’s presents
- wrap my sister and brother in law’s presents
- clean out the van er, enlist husband to clean out van and prepare three car seats. hope we have third car seat.
- find six little matching toddler shoes
- find six little matching toddler socks
- do girl child’s hair
- figure out what to wear and get presentable. curse holiday treats when pants don’t fit.
- get off the fucking internet and get started!

Wow. I’ve been reading your blog for probably 18 months now. I’ve been living in London for the past 8 months (moved from SK) and only just realized that you are in the same city! Slow much? Somehow that is really cool.

I got lucky–this list on Christmas Eve was short. Mostly it was make lip balm, label everything, and pack and wrap boxes, and it was all for family since I took a shutdown for the holidays starting Dec. 15.
