Bajaj Hindusthan Sugar’s board on Tuesday proposed the sale of 449Mw of power cogeneration capacity located at 14 sites to Lalitpur Power Generation Company Limited (LPGCL), a group company, for a lump sum cash payment of Rs 1,800 crore, subject to necessary shareholder and regulator approvals.
